Earlsfield Boxing Club by Joshua Osborne

About a year ago in an East end pub on a sunny day, Joshua Osborne told me with great passion and enthusiasm about a short documentary he and a small team of people had been working on.  The subject of his documentary; Earlsfield Boxing Club, and the beautiful sport of boxing.  Josh trains at the club and says that from the very first time he stepped into the club he knew he wanted to make a documentary film about it.

Set to an elegant jazz soundtrack, Josh captures the grace and determination behind the boxers and their coaches at Earlsfield Boxing Club.

Documentary film maker, amateur boxer and bloody nice fellow, Josh’s zero budget documentary is an impressive debut film.  Check out his website and send some love and appreciation his way.

Amazing GoPro Music Video

Some fast paced, adrenaline pumping, ass kicking, nail biting, fist flinging, blood spraying, free-running, boob close-uping… errr, just watch the video, you’ll see what I mean.  Brilliantly shot and edited, fantastic stunt work and loads of fun from director Ilya Naishuller.

Uhh, WARNING, blood and violence and boobs and naughty words.  So hide your kids and don’t let your boss see you watching it.  Enjoy!

Band: Biting Elbows

Perpetual Motion Machines

Although our current scientific understanding of the first and second law of thermodynamics renders perpetual motion machines an impossibility, the concept is fascinating and these machines, fake or real, are quite interesting.
